Clarendon Hills Lions Club (CHLC) 2016 Annual Raffle Official Rules
Tickets are $2.00 each or 6 tickets for $10.00 and your payment is not tax deductible. CHLC is not responsible for any typographical errors in print or on the Web. CHLC is not responsible for late, lost, stolen or otherwise misdirected mailings. Tickets may be purchased from CH Lions Club members or the office of Dr. William Hamel in Clarendon Hills.
Mail-in ticket applications must be made payable to "Clarendon Hills Lions Club" by check, or money order and sent to
Clarendon Hills Lions Club, P.O. Box 62, Clarendon Hills, Illinois 60514.
The raffle begins on April 15, 2016. Entries must be postmarked on or before September 9, 2016. Available tickets may be sold in person up to drawing time. The raffle will be drawn on September 16, 2016 at halftime of the Hinsdale Central High School football game in Hinsdale, Illinois. This will be approximately 8 PM.
The prizes are: $1,500 - First Prize; $500 - Second Prize; $500 - Third Prize; $500 - Fourth Prize; $500 - Fifth Prize.
Winners will be selected by random drawing of all tickets purchased. Winners need not be present and will be notified by mail or telephone, if not at the event. If winner cannot be notified within two weeks of winning the prize, or is ineligible to claim the prize, or, if after being notified, the winner does not claim the prize within 48 hours, the prize will be awarded to an alternate winner selected by random drawing from all remaining entries received.
Award of prize will be conducted by the CHLC, whose decisions are final on all matters relating to the raffle.
CHLC reserves the right to verify if the winner is eligible. By accepting the prize, winner releases CHLC, affiliates, affiliate boards, subsidiaries, sponsors and suppliers from liability arising from acceptance, possession and use of prize. Acceptance of prize constitutes consent to use winner’s name and/or likeness
for publicity purposes without further compensation.
All federal, state and local law and regulations apply. Winner must pay all federal, state, and local taxes, including income, use or sales taxes or any other governmental charges imposed on prize.
Net proceeds go to causes supported by CHLC.
CHLC reserves the right to amend, modify or terminate this raffle at any time.
All decisions are final. Void where prohibited.
